This page explains our analytics setup in plain terms.
1. What we track
We use self-hosted Umami analytics to measure overall site usage, such as page views, page path, referrer, browser type, and device type.
This helps us understand which pages are useful and where we should improve the site.
2. What we do not track
We do not use analytics to directly identify you by name, email, or account.
We do not use cross-site advertising trackers on this site.
3. Cookies and profiling
Our analytics setup does not rely on a cookie consent banner.
We do not use analytics for behavioural advertising profiles. We use aggregate site usage information only.
4. Legal basis (UK)
Where UK data protection law applies, our basis for basic audience measurement is legitimate interests.
We also rely on the PECR statistical purposes exception for strictly limited analytics where applicable.
5. Data sharing and retention
Analytics data is stored in our Umami setup and is not sold to advertisers.
Data retention is limited by our server-side analytics configuration and reviewed periodically.
6. Analytics controls
Current browser setting: Analytics enabled
These controls use the `localStorage` key `umami.disabled` in this browser only.
7. Policy changes
We may update this page when analytics or legal guidance changes.
The latest version is always published on this page.
